SimHealth Group is a comprehensive simulation facility design, training, and program development group, founded in 2005 by Michael Seropian MD, FRCPC, FSSH and Bonnie Driggers RN, MS, MPA. Our mission is to deliver premier professional services, integrating simulation into healthcare seamlessly.

Principals

Michael A. Seropian, M.D., FRCPC, FSSH

Dr. Seropian is a practicing pediatric anesthesiologist and Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Seropian has more than 29 years of experience in simulation education development and training. He has worked across professions throughout his career. He has developed and designed a large portfolio of simulation facilities and has been instrumental in developing multiple simulation collaboratives and ventures.


Dr. Seropian has worked extensively with nursing and allied health professionals in university and community colleges in a variety of states throughout the United States. In 2003 he became involved with the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education and has worked with individuals such as KT Waxman, Pam Jeffries and Suzi Kardon-edgrin to further develop simulation globally. He has published extensively and trained hundreds of individuals across professions in the use of simulation-based methods.


Dr. Seropian is a founding member and a past Chair of the Oregon Simulation Alliance. He has worked with multiple professions to promote simulation as a vehicle to enhance and promote inter-professionalism. As President of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (2011), he promoted policies and projects that would further enhance the global simulation community across professions and sectors. He sits on the American Society of Anesthesiology Editorial Board on simulation education. Dr. Seropian is internationally recognized for work to promote inter-professional education and opportunity. He is eager to see simulation education programs develop successfully.

Bonnie Driggers RN, MS, MPA

Bonnie Driggers, R.N., M.S., M.P.A., Professor Emeritus at Oregon Health & Science University, is a managing partner at the SimHealth Group. With a history as the Director of Clinical Teaching Systems, she co-directed the OHSU Simulation and Clinical Learning Center. A founding member of the Oregon Simulation Alliance, Ms. Driggers actively contributes to simulation education and consultation, focusing on program development, implementation, and facility design.
